Krzysztof Kwiatkowski
Senator of the Republic of Poland, President of the Supreme Audit Office from 2013 to 2019
Mr. Kwiatkowski was born on May 14, 1971 in Zgierz. In 2001, he graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw, obtaining a master's degree in law. He has post-graduate studies in the field of control and audit as well as management, as well as a controller application. In the years 1997-2001 he was the personal secretary of the Prime Minister, J. Buzek. From 1993 he was associated with the local government, until 2006 he was the vice-president of Zgierz. In 2007, he was elected a senator from PO, he chaired the Legislative Committee. In 2009, he took the position of Secretary of State in the Ministry of Justice. In the same year, he was appointed by President L. Kaczyński to the office of the Minister of Justice and the Prosecutor General in the first government D. Tusk. In 2013, he took over the presidency of the Supreme Chamber of Control. From November 2019 Senator of the 10th term, Chairman of the Senate Legislative Committee.
